The dentist chair was inspiration for a new seating configuration on overnight buses, its posture distributing pressure across body points and preventing roll. Optimum stacking occupies a sweet spot between a full seating layout and a full sleeper layout, while offering value for the customer in the form of a good nights rest. This could open up a new price point, profitable in a way that premium economy is on airlines. The final design follows ARAI guidelines.
